Rocket
In the late 1960's I was a small boy playing with my first Plastic Meccano sets that would set me on the road to a life-long career in engineering. At the same time over in the USA the greatest engineering program of the 20th century was taking men to the moon for the first time. I remember watching many of those Apollo missions on TV (Although sadly I don't remember the first moon landing).
Technical Tips
I built the rocket first and then thought I'd better build a launch gantry as well. The gantry is pulled back by a lever attached to a large gear wheel which is driven by a worm gear.
