Eiffel Tower II

This is my second go at building this perennial Meccano favourite, the last time being ten years ago. With a lot more Plastic Meccano on hand now I doubled the dimensions of everything for this model and also added a lift in the upper section. The lift gave me far more problems in the build than the tower itself and I abandoned plans for a lift in the lower section. I wonder if Gustave Eiffel had similar troubles when he built his tower in 1887.
