Double Decker Bus

Picture
My first build of a double-decker bus was seven years ago in 2011. I felt I could improve upon it today so here's my new improved model. I'm still attempting to stay with the classic Routemaster look.

By building the chassis out a bit wider using angle girders it allows for more internal details like seats and stairs. Also rather late in the build I decided to completely separate upper and lower deck assemblies (Compare use of vertical 5 hole strips in the 2011 model with use here of 2 x 3 hole strips vertically).

A few weeks after finishing this build I was inspired to modify it and turn it into an open top bus as seen in many English seaside towns.
